Gas station workers hit by the driver of the SUV, wedged

It happened around 7: 30 am Tuesday morning at the station at 64 and Sheridan.

Workers, which is described as a man in the 50s, was preparing to remove cover near the gas station when it happened. Rescuers with fire engines rushed to the scene of Arvada. South West Adams County Fire Department released him.

Person was rushed to the Hospital of St. Anthony at Lakewood in critical condition. The extent of his injuries was not known.

As for the driver of the SUV, and the cost may be, the researchers say that's still being sorted out. This driver was released pending the outcome of the investigation.

Arvada Police Department spokesperson Susan Medina told 9NEWS that drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as a factor in the accident.
